This year’s INBOUND 2025 in San Francisco brought together thousands of marketers, agency leaders, and RevOps pros to explore what’s next in growth. The energy was undeniable: AI innovation was everywhere, but so was an emphasis on authenticity, connection, and human impact.
And CallRail was right there in the middle of it.
AI + human touch: The theme of the week
From the main stage, HubSpot CEO Yamini Rangan declared a new era of customer engagement: “the traffic apocalypse” is here, and winning brands will thrive by creating The Loop, an AI-powered framework that blends connected data with personalized experiences.
Product launches like Data Hub, Smart CRM enhancements, and new AI agents showed how AI is becoming an everyday growth driver.
For CallRail, it was a powerful validation. Our mission has always been to give businesses clarity on what’s driving leads and revenue. Seeing AI take center stage reinforced how our solutions help marketers stay ahead, without losing the human connection.
Inside the expo hall: CallRail’s booth experience
Between packed keynotes and sessions, attendees flooded the Expo Hall—and our booth was buzzing!
Connecting campaigns to customers. Our team walked through how our solutions connect the dots between ad spend, conversations, and actual revenue.
Every missed call is a missed opportunity. Our Voice Assist demo stopped people in their tracks. Attendees couldn’t believe how easy it is to answer and engage leads with our new AI assistant.
Pop-a-shot contest. Our courtside-themed booth brought the fun too. The pop-a-shot basketball bracket became a crowd favorite, with attendees lining up to sink shots, snag swag, and compete for bragging rights.
Customers + community. Some of our favorite moments were catching up with longtime agency partners and meeting customers face-to-face. Their stories about using CallRail to win more business were energizing for our whole team.
Recognition that matters. On top of the excitement around our new Voice Assist + HubSpot integration, CallRail was also named a HubSpot Essential App for Sales for Fall 2025—for the second year in a row. It’s a proud moment that reinforces how deeply CallRail supports HubSpot users in connecting campaigns, conversations, and revenue.
The CallRail crew. None of it would have been possible without our amazing team, who kept the energy high all week—whether running back-to-back demos, handing out swag, or maybe even sneaking in a few baskets themselves.
Speaker highlights we loved
- Dario Amodei (Anthropic CEO) reminded the crowd that AI is powerful, but trust and oversight must guide adoption.
- Amy Poehler, in conversation with Dr. Maya Shanker, delivered a hilarious but heartfelt reminder that authenticity wins in crowded markets (podcasting or otherwise).
- Dominique Crenn, Michelin-starred chef, spoke about leading with kindness and curiosity—wisdom that resonated deeply with our team.
- Hot Ones x HubSpot was one of the most talked-about sessions! Between bites of increasingly spicy wings, HubSpot co-founder Brian Halligan shared with host Sean Evans how HubSpot balances high-tech growth with high-touch quality. The format was as fun as it was insightful—and had the crowd buzzing long after the last bite.
- Jay Schwedelson (Founder of SubjectLine.com), always a crowd favorite, delivered tactical, laugh-out-loud insights on what really works in email marketing today—breaking down subject lines, offers, and trends that drive clicks and conversions. Our team left with pages of notes (and a few laughs).
- Neil Patel (NP Digital) unpacked the future of SEO in an AI-driven world and offered practical strategies for building content that not only ranks but converts. His session echoed a theme we hear every day from customers: measurement and adaptability are key.
Key takeaways for marketers
- AI is table stakes, but context is king. From Yamini’s Loop framework to Neil Patel’s SEO strategies, the clear message was that AI isn’t optional anymore—but the winners will be those who combine it with human voice, creativity, and brand trust.
- Answering the phone still matters. Calls remain one of the most valuable conversion moments—and consumers won’t wait if you miss them. That’s why solutions like Voice Assist are the next frontier for capturing revenue around.
- Measurement = confidence. From Yamini’s “Loop” framework to our own ROI-driven platform, the winners will be those who can connect every campaign to real revenue.
- Creativity + accountability = growth. Jay Schwedelson reminded us that even small tweaks—like a subject line—can drive big results. Pairing those tactics with CallRail’s ability to tie leads back to actual revenue gives marketers confidence in what’s working.
- Authenticity cuts through the noise. From Amy Poehler to Dominique Crenn, the human side of marketing was on full display. Audiences crave genuine voices, and AI should amplify—not replace—that connection.
Until next time…
INBOUND 2025 was a powerful reminder of where our industry is heading: smarter, faster, more connected—and still deeply human.
To everyone who stopped by the CallRail booth: thank you. If we missed you this time, you can still catch up on how CallRail is helping agencies and businesses grow with confidence.
We’ll see you next year!
