For the second consecutive year, CallRail has made the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s annual Top Workplaces list.

CallRail was one of 2,300 companies asked to participate in the contest and was one of 150 companies to be selected to the final list. The contest was conducted by Energage –– a Philadelphia-based human resources and consulting company. In the end, Energage placed winners in one of three categories: Small companies (149 or fewer employees), mid-sized companies (150 to 499 employees), and large companies (500 or more employees).

With 102 employees at the time of entry, CallRail was among the winners in the small companies category, joining some other Atlanta tech outfits like Terminus and Gather on a list of 75. Another 50 mid-sized companies were recognized, along with 25 large companies. To be considered in the contest, CallRail employees were asked to respond to a set of statements using a seven-point Likert scale.

“Each statement was tested to ensure a high correlation with how Atlanta employees rate their workplaces,” the AJC explained. “This was calculated by correlating the statement responses to a control question that asked each employee to rate his or her workplace on a scale of zero to 99.”

Here, we like to say we “optimize for happiness” by providing flexibility and fun while encouraging innovation. We enjoy frequent team outings and a driven, fast-paced, can-do office culture. We give employees runway to do awesome things, like launch an apprenticeship for junior software developers or volunteer to give back to our city by planting trees in areas that need them.

And to round off the experience here, last year, CallRail was recognized for hyper growth by Deloitte.
