Your security is our highest priority at CallRail. As part of this commitment, we constantly monitor potential threats so that we can mitigate them before they become a problem. In that spirit, we want to make you aware of an emerging third-party incident we are actively addressing.
What happened?
On August 4, 2022, Twilio became aware of unauthorized access to information. Twilio has confirmed that CallRail was not impacted. The incident impacted a limited number of Twilio customer accounts through a sophisticated social engineering attack designed to steal employee credentials.
What is CallRail doing?
Although CallRail was not impacted by this incident, we continue to stay in close communication with Twilio to monitor the incident.
How significant is this threat to the security of my data?
CallRail’s account within Twilio was not compromised. You do not need to take any action at this time. We encourage you to please contact support should you need information beyond what is provided here or have any concerns about your security.
