How does CallRail work?

We instantly allocate a tracking phone number that forwards to your main phone number. Your customers dial the new tracking number, we forward the call, and you answer your main phone like you usually do. CallRail gathers statistics, and you can check them online in real-time. CallRail does not require any special training, equipment, or up-front investment.

What happens if I cancel my account?

Because we don’t require long-term contracts, you can cancel your account at any time. If you cancel, your phone numbers will be disabled immediately upon cancellation and calls will no longer be routed to your business. Once your phone numbers are released, they cannot be recovered.

How do I install CallRail call tracking on my website?

We provide a simple JavaScript code that your website administrator can install. It dynamically replaces the phone numbers on your website when a visitor from an appropriate traffic source is detected (for instance, from Google Adwords). The code we provide can be installed just as easily as Google Analytics.

If I have multiple clients, can I create a separate login for each client?

Yes, we recommend you create separate accounts for each of your clients. That way, your clients will only have access to their call tracking data. You’ll be able to manage all of your clients’ accounts via a single login by using CallRail’s Account Center.
