New Feature: SMS on the CallRail Mobile App

Just a few months ago we brought you several highly-requested features to the CallRail mobile app, and the reception from our customers was exceptional. Today, I couldn’t be more excited to follow-up with another game-changing mobile app update – SMS messaging to your tracking numbers on-the-go.

Send and Receive Texts Right Inside the CallRail App

Adding “Text Us” as an option to your website or advertising is a great way to make it as easy as possible for mobile customers to respond to your marketing. In fact, 65% of consumers say they’d consider using SMS to connect with a business. All of your local CallRail tracking numbers are equipped to start sending and receiving text messages, but you needed to send SMS messages from the browser version of the CallRail application – that all changes today.

Now, with version 3 of the CallRail mobile app, you can respond to your SMS leads from your smartphone. Close deals faster and improve customer service by responding to customers on-the-go, with access to powerful business-class text messaging from the palm of your hand. Bringing SMS conversations to the smartphone is an industry first, and we’re excited to see how CallRail customers will use it to grow their business and improve sales and marketing.

Mobile Text Notifications

There’s nothing worse than missing a hot SMS lead because you weren’t by your computer. But today that’s all changing – with this latest update to the mobile app, you’ll never miss a lead again.

We’ve introduced mobile push notifications for SMS messages, so you’re quickly notified whenever one of your CallRail tracking numbers receives a text message. Each notification you receive will ensure that leads are responded to quickly and that your customers receive the service they expect. Click the notifications to be placed directly in the SMS conversation to pick up right where you left off.

Bringing SMS functionality to the mobile app isn’t the only thing we launched in this update. We also improved overall application performance with a flew of bug fixes, but also added some other new exciting features:

  • New Search Functionality for the Companies List – If you have a ton of companies within your CallRail account, it can be hard to find the right one when you’re on your smartphone. We’ve added search functionality to the companies list to help make it easier to find the exact sub-account you’re looking for.
  • Fully Redesigned Navigation Buttons – And of course, none of these powerful new features mean anything if you can’t find them. We’ve updated the navigation at the bottom of the app to help make it simpler to follow-up on calls and texts in just a few clicks.

The latest version of the CallRail Mobile App is available for download today in both the Google Play Store and the App Store. The CallRail Mobile App comes at no additional charge for any and all CallRail customers.
