CallRail celebrates a decade of growth from call tracking product to integrated marketing platform

This month marks 10 years since CallRail’s founding, and we’re incredibly proud. We have evolved from a call tracking product to an integrated marketing platform that helps small businesses market smarter, drive more quality leads, and centralize communications, and turn leads into loyal customers.

Over the last decade, CallRail has sustained accelerated growth. The company earned a spot on both the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America and the Deloitte Tech Fast 500 for the past five years. And in 2020, CallRail surpassed $60M ARR.

Our story began in 2011 when Co-founder and CEO Andy Powell set out to solve his own business problem.

“Before starting CallRail, I ran an online directory of BMW repair shops. As a small business owner working with other small business owners, I realized I needed call tracking to prove that I was driving customers to the shops listed on my site,” said Powell. “While call tracking solutions existed, they were designed mainly for large enterprises, leaving a gap in the market for solutions tailored to small businesses.”

Co-founder Kevin Mann and Powell gave themselves just six weeks to build their product and get their first paying customers. Since then, CallRail has not only launched new products to meet customer needs but has been purposefully built to get in front of challenges small businesses face daily.

“The industry is quickly moving toward the convergence of analytics tools and communication platforms. CallRail is here to help our customers get ahead of this evolution and grow in an increasingly competitive world,” Powell explained.

CallRail launched Lead Center, their communications hub, to provide space for businesses to engage with leads from within the platform in October 2020. Paired with existing Call Tracking, Form Tracking, and Conversation Intelligence products, the marketing platform gives businesses visibility into each customer’s journey and the tools they need to turn leads into customers.

Longtime CallRail Atlanta-based customer Reliable Heating & Air recently shared how they’ve consistently utilized the platform as it evolved.
