CallRail brings home inaugural Appealie award in overall SaaS category

The Appealie Awards are a brand new set of software honors created to recognize SaaS applications that delight users. On Wednesday, Appealie announced CallRail as a 2017 winner in its Overall SaaS category.

CallRail joined applications like ChurnZero, LiveChat, Xero, and Zendesk as one of 16 winners in the category.

In its inaugural selections, the Appealie judges panel looked for “apps that demonstrate excellence through innovation, customer delight and dedication to constant improvement.” Awards specifically recognizing apps for customer success and mobile usability.

“Winning in today’s SaaS marketplace requires customer-obsessed teams and products that consistently deliver business value and help their users succeed,” explained Matt Harney, Founder of Appealie. “Our focus on customer data, real-life success stories, and client input created a democratic process where entrants were evaluated not on the size of their user base – but on customer delight.”

Customer success gurus from Chargebee, MeetEdgar, ProsperWorks, and Reply made up the judges panel, using the methodology below to decide on Overall SaaS winners:

  • Performance (15%)
  • Business value (20%)
  • User experience (20%)
  • User interface (10%)
  • Customer success (25%)

As Appealie explains on its website: “Winners are determined using a mix of entrant-supplied customer satisfaction data and the Appealie survey that measures engagement across user experience, performance, business value, user interface and customer service.”

CallRail was recognized for hyper growth by organizations like Deloitte and Inc. throughout 2017, which was a tremendous honor.
