Web Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote (US)

The Position

At CallRail, our website is at the heart of our customer experience and business growth and we are looking to add a data driven, problem solving Web Analyst to our Demand and Customer Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Web Strategy and Analytics, this position will be responsible for analyzing site metrics such as website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates to deliver actionable insights. They will be creating dashboards and interpreting the data to identify growth opportunities. They will also need to be able to recognize gaps in the data and recommend solutions. They will be a key member on the team that stakeholders look to for meaningful insights and strategic recommendations on user interactions and conversion growth. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to create a story using the data and present findings in an easy, absorbable manner.  

What You'll Do 

  • Create and maintain website performance dashboards and reports that provide insights into engagement, user behaviors, conversions etc
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, increase conversion rates, and web performance optimization
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide web insights and respond to questions/requests on in-depth web performance analysis
  • Assist in reporting and analysis for A/B testing, MVT focused on conversion rate optimization
  • Identify new ways to automate and enhance our existing reporting & processes
  • Work with the engineering team to implement new tracking and ensure the current tagging is consistent and accurate
  • Define and regularly execute audits of analytics tracking to ensure accuracy in data collection and detect any potential issues, determine the cause, and resolve the error
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive improvements in our analytics capabilities


  • 3+ years experience building analytics dashboards and providing solutions and strategies around website performance and conversion growth
  • Expert skills in Google Marketing Platform (Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, etc.)
  • Experience leading integrations between data platforms
  • Skilled with the ability to build a narrative with data and present findings
  • Experience using SEO, data analysis, and user engagement tools
  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
