The Position

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing social strategies that grow CallRail’s brand equity in the market and effectively engage our target audiences. This includes end-to-end ownership of social campaigns that achieve both brand marketing and demand generation objectives, creating and curating engaging content that educates the market while creatively expressing our brand identity, and making data-driven decisions for optimization of efforts. The Social Media Manager will not only work to drive measurable results that clearly show the impact on business goals, but to create a strong sense of community around the CallRail brand between customers, prospects, and industry influencers. 

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for connecting people via social platforms, is internally driven, and can pair creative ideas with data analysis to elevate our brand’s presence in the global market. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Develops social strategies, tactics and editorial calendars for short and long-term brand growth, taking into account platforms, content and competitive landscape
  • Writes copy and schedules content for distribution across channels, making sure goals are aligned across internal teams, creative is cohesive, and messaging is consistent
  • Makes sure our social media communications are on-brand, consistent in terms of creativity, style, quality, tone of voice, and relevant to our verticalized audience segments
  • Plans and executes training on social media interactions for internal influencers who participate in social activity on behalf of CallRail
  • Work closely with Brand Advocacy Manager to curate appropriate, shareable social content for our employee and customer advocacy programs
  • Has ongoing collaboration with content, demand generation, product marketing and design teams to ensure that social activity supports and enhances broader marketing campaigns and objectives 
  • Reports regularly on KPIs using and interpreting data from Google Analytics, native analytics on social platforms, and social media management tools
  • Creates campaigns that increase brand awareness and support lead generation efforts with corresponding goals and KPIs
  • Uses social listening and interaction with customers, prospects and industry influencers to build an engaged community around the CallRail brand
  • Handles incoming customer support and sales requests via social media and directs them to the appropriate team 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable work experience 
  • 5+ years managing social media for brands on channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Proven track record of creating a high level social strategy and implementing tactics driving measurable results/ROI
  • Experience planning social media campaigns end-to-end, tracking outcomes, and analyzing data for optimization
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and able to use UTM parameters effectively 
  • Experience using Sprout Social a plus
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated track record for problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Design experience and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Design programs preferred 
  • Background in SaaS and/or B2B marketing a plus
