The Position

We’re looking for a driven, creative, and experienced candidate to fill the role of Senior Advocacy & Communications Manager on our Integrated Marketing team. You will play an integral role in building out our brand marketing function through advocacy programs that harness the voices of our employees and customers, designing influencer campaigns to support brand and demand generation goals, and assisting with PR and communications execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading customer and employee advocacy programs, influencer relations, public speaking, message development and communications.

What You'll Do 

  • Own the strategy, development, execution, and measurement of brand advocacy programs at CallRail including customer stories, employee advocacy, and influencer relations
  • Work closely with product marketing, customer success, and sales to identify key customers as potential advocates; regularly nurture advocate relationships and understand how their stories fit into CallRail’s brand narrative; develop and maintain customer advocacy database; work with content, demand and integrated marketing teams to match advocates with campaigns and content needs
  • Design and launch comprehensive CallRail thought leadership program that supports demand, content, and brand marketing goals including company-wide speaker and writers bureau, training program for internal thought leaders, and impact measurement and reporting
  • Partner with Talent & Culture and social teams to update employee advocacy program with fresh adoption strategy and metrics that tie to broader company goals
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to working closer with the influential members of our industry, and serve as a go-to resource to the rest of the marketing team
    • Remain knowledgeable of internal company marketing initiatives, especially major announcements, content creation, and events
  • Pioneer CallRail’s influencer program by building relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders in our space and designing paid and earned media influencer campaigns in collaboration with the demand generation team, customer marketing team, and our PR firm
  • Determine the right processes for engaging and vetting new influencers or brand partners while maintaining and deepening relationships with existing influencers
  • Establish a sustainable, strategic, and measurable approach to integrated advocacy and PR efforts to effectively tell the company story and elevate brand positioning in the industry as a best-in-class marketing and analytics platform in the SMB marketing space 
  • Support communications strategy by assisting with day-to-day activities with an existing external PR agency partner
  • Work closely with senior leaders and other stakeholders to develop and execute multi-faceted internal communications plans, for anything from town halls to company achievements to crisis communications

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS in applicable field or equivalent working experience
  • 7+ years experience working in marketing/communications in SaaS, B2B or other relevant industry 
  • Deep domain knowledge of brand/customer advocacy, influencer marketing, public relations and/or partnerships in the technology industry 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a willingness to try creative approaches to networking
  • Experience working with executives and other senior-level leaders and managing third party vendor relationships with agencies or consultants 
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Proven track record of designing thought leadership/brand advocacy or influencer programs
