Sales Trainer

The Position

CallRail is seeking a Sales Trainer to help accelerate the growth and development of our Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales Training, this person will be responsible for helping build and deliver world-class training, establish operational excellence, and focus closely on rep development and upskilling. 

The ideal candidate will be results-driven and hard-working, well-versed in successfully delivering multiple high-priority projects at once, and great at building strong, cross-functional relationships. Prior experience in a similar role at a fast-paced startup environment is preferred. 

CallRail is working remotely as of now, but will be returning to the office in the future, so this candidate needs to be based in Atlanta, Georgia. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of new-hire training and on-going training 
  • Share and manage onboarding and training responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve current curriculum in place across all Sales roles 
  • Ensure training materials stay up-to-date between training classes 
  • Build quizzes, knowledge checks, and training paths in our LMS, Lessonly
  • Organize best practice Gong Call Libraries 
  • Create and maintain process and role playbooks
  • Help build + rollout CallRail’s first ever Sales Academy and Product Certification Program 
  • Keep team current on product updates and launches as well as key company initiatives 
  • Manage and optimize Sales tech stack, including tools like Calendly, Gong, Outreach, and DocuSign 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior inside sales experience in an SDR and Closing role
  • Excellent communicator, listener, and relationship builder
  • Prior experience onboarding, mentoring, and training inside sales teams at a high growth SaaS startup
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and a Sales Engagement tool, like Salesloft or Outreach 
  • Knack for developing engaging content in a variety of different formats + mediums
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to train both small and large groups 
  • Exhibits a “problem solver attitude”, willing to get hands dirty + help proactively find gaps in the Sales org 
  • A self-starter who is hungry to help others grow, highly organized, can balance a full project pipeline and hit tight deadlines, and genuinely enjoys working with Sales teams 

 

Desired Experience

  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), like Lessonly 
  • Experience working with a highly technical product and market and high velocity Sales teams
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Support, Success, Product, and Product Marketing teams
