Marketing Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

The Position

The Marketing Project Manager (MPM) will be responsible for overseeing content and design production processes and campaign execution for the marketing team. The MPM will ensure teams are aligned throughout the course of projects and campaigns, set and track deadlines, establish deliverables, and create, maintain, and adjust processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and team transparency.

The MPM role is key to driving projects and deliverables to completion. This role will report to the Sr. Marketing Production Manager, and will be part of a team that ensures the marketing engine runs smoothly through processes, communication, and a high level of organization.


What You'll Do 

  • Work with the marketing team to set and meet milestone dates while proactively communicating and addressing any challenges that put a project at risk
  • Perform quality control checks on emails
  • Own and oversee the marketing initiatives and email calendars
  • Provide administrative support to Sr. Marketing Production Manager
  • Act as liaison between marketing team and revenue operations team
  • Act as the traffic/project manager for all creative and content production projects
  • Act as liaison between project owners and the creative team and support weekly sprint planning
  • Own marketing deliverable request process in Asana, iterating and making improvements as needed
  • Organize check-ins with contributors to projects to ensure deadlines are met with quality work; manage project sync meetings
  • Build and oversee robust project plans in Asana for marketing campaigns that span multiple mediums, including virtual events, email campaigns, webinars, and product and feature launches
  • Other duties as needed


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management or related.
  • Working knowledge of project management platforms like Asana
  • Experience with Marketo a plus
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of sprint planning and/or workflow management a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management working within marketing function or similar position
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for project management, demand generation, email marketing, and the ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies
