The Position

CallRail is looking for a Lead Web Developer. You will be responsible for leading the development of all websites including performance testing and reporting. You will partner with key stakeholders to present and articulate web design and development decisions. This role is within our Engineering organization but focused on our company websites rather than product development.

 

What You'll Do

  • Bring a specific passion for excellence in the area of market-facing web development
  • Lead development projects for the website, both large and small
  • Lead and mentor other team members to develop shared best practices and development standards
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews with key stakeholders and be able to communicate clearly
  • Drive technical direction for the website and its infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the design team and deliver the projects on time
  • Assess new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the necessary time-to-completion
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices 
  • Maintain branding and graphic standards throughout the company's websites through well-organized sheets

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability in core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JS frameworks, AWS, CMS, platform-as-a-service
  • Experience with front-end architecture in an enterprise-level website
  • Ability to code for cross-browser compatibility, and sites that require security/authentication
  • Expertise with Adaptive / Responsive development techniques
  • Experience with single-page application (SPA) development
  • Demonstrate experience in web API development and security implementation
  • Expertise with object-oriented coding, version/source control, bug tracking, and workflow applications/tools
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in web architecture, including performance, accessibility, and usability
  • SaaS & MarTech preferred
