Head of Brand and Communications

The Position

CallRail is seeking a leader of Brand and Communications to elevate and expand the company brand across the globe. You will lead a team responsible for accelerating CallRail’s brand awareness and position as an industry thought leader, and accelerating our growth through brand awareness and evangelism. We are seeking a master of positioning and strategic communications to craft and maintain the CallRail brand and communications strategies as we launch into our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do 

  • Own our global brand positioning and vertical messaging, working with our executive team and internal stakeholders to drive adoption across the company and across all brand touch points
  • Build and elevate CallRail’s brand awareness to drive company valuation, revenue, and establish a strong employer brand that attracts top talent 
  • Lead and develop the team responsible for CallRail’s communications channels, including public relations, social media, events, 3rd party communities and employee advocacy
  • Develop and execute cross-channel thought leadership strategy that positions CallRail as an industry expert in the martech and communications space, utilizing executive spokesperson, employee thought leaders, and customer evangelists
  • Achieve high visibility in top-tier industry publications through a strategic media relations program, managing execution via external PR agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance to team on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers,
  • Create strong partnerships, and robust analyst and influencer relations programs resulting in effective brand evangelism
  • Build and manage our global speaker bureau and awards program, identifying avenues to drive thought leadership in the Martech space and across our key markets 
  • Drive key objectives and measurement for our global communications function and continue to raise CallRail’s share of voice in industry markets 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS degree
  • B2B SaaS experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience driving brand positioning, messaging, and management 
  • You are a master storyteller and communicator as well as strategic leader
  • Strong and proven track record with communications, media relations and social media
  • Proven experience driving corporate communications through massive scale and growth 
  • A start-up mentality, high sense of urgency as well as an ability/interest in wearing multiple hats
  • Building, managing and coaching teams and individuals to achieve, continuously learn and grow their careers
  • 8-10  years experience in global brand, communications and PR. Both in house and agency experience a plus
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive new ways of thinking and driving communications internally and externally 
  • Experience building and leading speaker programs, analyst and industry relations programs and managing external agencies
