Financial Systems Manager

The Position

This position will report directly to the Controller and will support our growing SaaS organization through the design, implementation, optimization, and evaluation of automated and manual financial systems. It is a hybrid position, which sits in the accounting group and requires IT technical skills, accounting and reporting knowledge, and solid business acumen. 

What You'll Do

Finance Support

  • Ownership of the Zuora billing system, NetSuite accounting system, Z connector integration tool, Avalara, and other financial systems
  • Development of accounting and finance reports, editing business data, updating and maintaining financial systems, and troubleshooting system issues
  • Gathers requirements from end-users and stakeholders to support all financial software solutions within the finance group and across the organization. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Software support, administration, and configuration and customizations of various software systems including accounting systems, billing systems, and other related financial systems
  • Implement/on-going testing of key financial control environment 
  • GAAP/Internal reporting
  • Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Close Management
  • Adhoc analysis and reporting

Technical Support

  • Works with Finance staff to ensure all reporting and analysis needs are met with current or future software solutions
  • Supports the continued design, development, implementation and on-going support of CallRail’s financial systems structure including the following:
    • Master data elements, structures, hierarchies, attributes and properties related to Zuora, NetSuite, and other financial systems
  • Business rules and calculation scripts
  • Workflows, security and data input forms
  • Advanced Excel-based financial reports
  • Change and release management  
  • Development of future system requirements and use
  • Supports other functional groups in further leveraging the use of our financial systems
  • Supports interaction between Finance staff and IT resources


  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or MIS is required
  • 3-5 years of NetSuite/Zuora Financial Systems experience in a support role, application development, and advanced end-user experience preferred
  • Business rules and calculation scripts
  • Experience with Data Analysis and reporting, including SQL queries
  • Knowledge/Understanding of ETL concepts or tools
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts
  • Advanced MS Office Skills and Excel-based financial reports
  • Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems 
  • Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) including metadata elements, structures, hierarchies, attributes and properties
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and information gathering skills are required
  • Finance business knowledge including:
    • GAAP/Internal reporting
    • Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting
    • Close Management
    • Adhoc analysis and reporting
